Every photo is generated at the official size, head height and background colour published by the authority for the country and document you choose. Final acceptance also depends on lighting, expression and the source photo you upload — we cannot guarantee any specific authority will accept it.

Any clear JPG, PNG or HEIC photo up to 12 MB. For best results, stand in front of a plain wall, in even daylight, looking straight at the camera with a neutral expression.

Cropping, resizing, watermarking and final compositing run in your browser. If you choose Best white background, the photo is sent temporarily to the configured background-removal provider so the person can be extracted and placed on the required colour. We do not store the photo.

Yes. Pick the United States or India in the editor — both use the 2×2 inch (51 × 51 mm) standard photo size. Many other countries also accept this format.

Payment is processed securely by Stripe via a one-time Payment Link. We never see your card details. After paying, you are redirected back to the editor (with the unlock saved for your browser session) so you can download the HD photo and the printable 4×6 sheet.

If your payment succeeded but the HD download did not unlock, email support with your Stripe receipt and we will help right away. Reach us at support@passportvisaphotostudio.com.

Yes — if the editor cannot generate a usable photo from the source image you uploaded, email support@passportvisaphotostudio.com within 24 hours of payment with your Stripe receipt and we will refund in full. See the refund policy for full details.
